ISS-USA Receives Technical Assistance Grant from The Jessie Ball duPont Fund

Baltimore, MD, (March 17, 2016) – ISS-USA is pleased to announce it has received a $4,000 technical assistance grant from the Jessie Ball duPont Fund. As part of The Fund’s Building Organizational Capacity initiative, this grant will support a number of technological enhancements and advancements which will help ISS-USA provide high quality social services to an increasing number of clients in a more confidential and efficient manner. This funding will enable ISS-USA to more securely and effectively communicate with clients, partners, and colleagues both nationwide and internationally.

The Jessie Ball duPont Fund awards grants through a competitive application and review process. The Fund’s grants within the Building Organizational Capacity area help eligible organizations build and sustain their capacity to ensure they are financially well-positioned for long-term success, make informed decisions, and overcome obstacles.

ISS-USA is the U.S. member of a global child protection and social service network. ISS-USA connects vulnerable children, adults, and families, separated by international borders, to the services and support they need.
 
The Jessie Ball duPont Fund is a national foundation that makes grants to a defined universe of organizations whose eligibility is determined exclusively by Mrs. duPont’s personal philanthropic decisions. An organization is eligible if it received a gift from Mrs. duPont between January 1, 1960 and December 31, 1964. The Fund organizes its resources around the following focus areas: Strengthening the Independent Sector; Building the Assets of People, Families and Communities; and Building the Capacity of Eligible Organizations.
