New Board Appointment

Baltimore, MD, June 25, 2015 – The Board of Directors of International Social Service-United States of America Branch, Inc., (ISS-USA) has appointed Rob Reich to serve a three-year term on the organization’s board.

Rob is a Senior Financial Advisor and Senior Vice President of Investments at Wells Fargo.  He has more than 17 years of industry experience in helping his clients maintain their lifestyle, preserve net worth and assure their legacies.  Rob lives in Old Town Alexandria with his with Caroline. He is an avid reader, oenophile and cyclist.  He has long been an active philanthropist, supporting a variety of charities by hosting wine events with his wife.

Also at the June Annual meeting the Board’s Executive Committee was elected.  Officers are appointed for one term and will be Mary Mentaberry as Board Chair, Trooper Sanders, as Vice Chair, Bill Evans as Treasurer and Lonnie Taylor as Secretary. 

Mr. Reich joins the board as the organization is preparing to undertake several new programs.  The first, funded by a private foundation, will identify and provide capacity building to new partner organizations in the countries of El Salvador, Honduras and Guatemala.  Second, ISS-USA has begun a project with the network’s General Secretariat to provide training to frontline child welfare workers in Nuevo León, Mexico in order to expand the options for permanent placement for children with disabilities living in institutions. 

Additionally, ISS-USA is preparing for their 90th Anniversary this year.  The milestone will be commemorated with a National Celebration to be held at the Rayburn House Office Building on September 17th of this year.
