ISS-USA certified the home study to assist this family adopt from Tanzania

As a licensed child placement agency in the State of Maryland, ISS-USA is authorized to certify adoptive home studies for American citizens living abroad. Adoptive home studies prepared in another country are reviewed by the International Social Work Supervisor who has a Master’s degree in Social Work and is licensed in the State of Maryland.

If all documents are included with the home study and the necessary information is provided as required by United States Bureau of Citizenship and Immigration Services, a letter of Certification is written by ISS-USA.

Please note that different rules apply for adoptions that are between two countries that are parties to The Hague Adoption Convention.
